I
would like to thank you for your interest in becoming
an Independent Contractor with Ardent Services,
Inc. Ardent Services, Inc. provides comprehensive
evaluation services including Customer Service,
Merchandise Integrity, Store Standards, Competitor
Performance Comparison, Competitor Price Comparison,
Associate Integrity and Associate Morale. Companies'
bottom lines, gross margins, and customer loyalty
is impacted greatly by associate morale, customer
service, merchandise standards, price levels,
and internal theft. Having a report card that
is accurate, current, and at your fingertips is
paramount. Ardent Services provides the data needed
to evaluate these areas properly in an effort
to attract and retain customers, build sales,
and increase profits. We do this by using Mystery
Shoppers to evaluate their products and/or services
at our customer's request.
If
selected, you will be given various assignments
in fast food restaurants, retail stores, airlines,
automobile dealerships, hotels and various other
types of shops. You would be offered these assignments
as an Independent Contractor, not an employee.
Confidentiality is imperative to our clients and
to us. Please be sure to review carefully the
section on confidentiality in the Independent
Contractor Agreement. You may not pass your assignments
onto anyone else. This is strictly prohibited.
You are also prohibited from soliciting clients
through your work with Ardent Services, Inc. Any
breach of confidentiality will result in your
removal from our list of Mystery Shoppers and
Ardent Services, Inc. reserves the right to pursue
legal action.
You
are responsible for paying your own taxes. A form
1099 will be sent to you if you have earned a
minimum of $600 in a calendar year from shopping
fees. If the fees total less than $600 and you
do not receive a 1099 form from Ardent Services,
Inc., you will still be responsible for all taxes
on moneys you've earned.
Please
keep in mind, you would be an Independent Contractor,
not an employee so if you ever have to file for
unemployment insurance, you are not to list Ardent
Services, Inc. as an employer. If you are chosen
for an assignment, you will be contacted by Ardent
Services, Inc. and will have the option to accept
or decline the assignment. If you accept the assignment,
you will be given a range of times and dates to
perform the evaluation. If you accept, you have
guaranteed Ardent Services, Inc. that the shop
will be completed during that time frame.
Fees
will be paid only for those reports acceptable
to our clients. The evaluation, after completion
must be submitted within 24 hours of completion.
Late reports are considered invalid you will not
be paid for late reports. If your report falls
below our expectations, you will not be offered
future assignments. Our commitment to our customers
is our number one priority and it is our expectation
that you, as an Independent Contractor for Ardent
Services, Inc. would have that same commitment.
